We have created Z roles for the users which are copied from the standard SAP roles. We need to restrict the users based on purchasing organization. As per the functional team Input the the Purchasing Org Values are not constant and changes from DEv to QA and to Prod. We tried to restict the user via
the organizational responsibility field of Responsibility tab in the PPOMA_BBP transaction and then maintain * in the Purchase Org filed of the user. In this case user was able to see all data. If we maintain ' ' in the purchasing organisation field user is not able to see any data.
Updating a role with the purchasing organization in production is not a good practice.
Please suggest what should be done in this regards.
